Welcome to The Compassionate Friends of Johnson County Kansas.  We are sad for the reason you are here but hope you find some comfort.

We will be meeting on the second Thursday of each month in person in the Parlor Room at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, 13720 Roe Ave, Leawood, KS 66224.

Here’s how to find the Parlor Room.

We now have a siblings breakout group at our monthly meetings.

You can also join the monthly meeting on Zoom.  The link is emailed a few days before the meeting.

If you’re not on our email list, use the Contact form.

We are a bereaved parents grief support group.  We also serve those that lost a sibling or grandchild.

The mission of The Compassionate Friends: When a child dies, at any age, the family suffers intense pain and may feel hopeless and isolated. The Compassionate Friends provides highly personal comfort, hope, and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or a daughter, a brother or a sister, or a grandchild, and helps others better assist the grieving family.

The vision of The Compassionate Friends is that everyone who needs us will find us and everyone who finds us will be helped.
